Noted on the map are the locations of various incidents in Browning’s book and related modern day sites. Locations of these incidents are taken from a 1960’s edition of the book which cites “Wm. W. Hoyes’ 1823 Map” as the source. Most locations are approximate and no physical markers are present, but you can still experience the feeling of many of the sites

The Deep Creek Lake Lions Club has installed a trail system, historical exhibit and art installation themed around the life and times of Browning at its park at 1249 Bumble Bee Rd,Accident MD. The park also includes a fenced dog run, picnic pavilion, restrooms, ballfield, play area and Blind Skier and Camper art exhibit.
